Joshua is one of Scripture’s clearest pictures of strength, courage, and obedience. Yet before he ever led Israel into the Promised Land, his identity was rooted in something far deeper: his name. Written in Paleo-Hebrew as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahushaā), his name literally means Yah is salvation.

To understand Joshua’s name is to understand his calling, his leadership, and the way Yah brings victory to His people.
